STATE OF THE NATION. — 5 Comments

  1. One would think people would have had enough and give the takers the finger but clearly not. There is no way the tax takers are going to make themselves redundant, the ballot box is as much use as a chocolate fireguard so it will take something from amongst the compliant tax payers to bring the thievery to an end.

    • In reality Bill, the only real tool the electorate have is withholding money. In this regard though, it requires us all to rise up as one and say, “Not a penny more.” However, the takers, as you put it, have made sure of a compliant media in the main and have enough snouts in the trough around them who are grateful for their sponsorship. So, failing something so obnoxious that nobody could possibly defend, I can’t see how we fight back. However, stay tuned…..

      • What electorate?
In any election in the UK the numbers of those registered not voting is the biggest proportion of the whole. If anyone has registered to be on the electoral roll then they are consenting to be controlled by the state. The deception is that an electorate chooses a government. The reality is the electorate at best gets to choose between personalities masquerading as parties. As Carlin said “if you vote you have no right to complain because all voters vote for government”.

Simple non-compliance is as easy as it gets. Stop doing as they say, stop being told by these people what to do and wen, the art of no or as many expletives as it takes to get through to them you ain’t playing their game anymore.

Hoping for a mass to do this is truly forlorn hope. At least it is over here might be different in your place.

        • It is always harder to change something from the outside than it is from the inside. In the USA they voted Trump versus what they were expected to do. In the UK they voted BREXIT, again a surprise to the ruling classes. In Ireland it was more muted but we did register a protest vote by voting independent candidates and breaking the monopoly of the main parties. The more they lie to us the more we will do that again is my feeling for it and now, on polling day when I am confronted with the long list of candidates locally, I just tick all of those who are not any of the top four parties and urge others to do the same.
It’s the best I have been able to come up with so far.

  2. “on polling day when I am confronted with the long list of candidates locally, I just tick all of those who are not any of the top four parties and urge others to do the same.”

    Thus consenting to be governed.
Government, creates the illusion of choice (party/independent) creates the register of electors, ASKS people to ‘register their details’, calls election, runs election, counts votes, announces results, stays in control. Why we cannot see a rigged game when it is crushing us underfoot and simply stop playing it is beyond my ken.
